Nikon D40 zoom lens question?

I have a Nikon D40 and I am looking to buy another lens for it.
I want a lens with a better zoom than what the lens that came with the camera has. What is the best zoom lens I can get on a budget?

I’m going to a concert in July and I’d like to have a good zoom lens so I can get good pictures.
I really don’t want to spend more than 0 max.

    How far from the stage, and how much money do you have to spend? There are many choices, this will help narrow it down some.
